This chilling work (ahead of its time) questions the hollowness of civilisation and the truly barbaric nature of the British Empire’s campaign of colonialism. This framed novel contains three parts, split down into subsections for study.

I have taught these texts a number of times and have refined this resource at the close of every academic year. I have successfully used this resource to lead my teaching in the classroom, as a homework or distance learning material and even as a tool of revision – all have worked well for the students.
